Good Hotel London is a floating platform introducing the profit for non-profit business model into the London hotel scene. Located in the Royal Victoria Docks, offering good views over the city of London and river Thames. 
Good Hotel connects you with the destination, offers a premium hotel experience and the opportunity to do something back for the local community while travelling. 


What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is 3:00 pm, check-out is 11:00 am.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability. Please enquire with our team the day of arrival/departure. Should you wish to guarantee an early check-in, we recommend you to book the night before arrival.

How is my room guaranteed?

Prepaid Non-refundable Rate

Fully prepaid at the time of booking.

Non-amendable and non-refundable in case of cancellation, early departure or no show.

In case of a no-show, early departure or late cancellation: total cost of nights booked is charged.

Flexible Rate

Booking can be amended or cancelled free of charge up to 3pm one (1) day prior to arrival.

Full payment is taken after 3pm 24h prior to arrival after which booking becomes non-amendable and non-refundable in case of cancellation, early departure or no show.

In case of a no-show, early departure or late cancellation: total cost of nights booked is charged.

I do not have a credit/debit card, can I make a reservation?

Bookings cannot be made unless a credit/debit card has been provided to secure the room.

How do I cancel my booking?

In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your reservation, please call us at +44 (0)20 3637 7407 or mail us at
Let us know at least 48 hours prior to check in to avoid any cancellation charges (that is by 3 PM two days prior to arrival). Full payment of your booking is taken from the card provided after 48 hours prior to arrival, and the booking becomes non-refundable in the event of a no-show, early departure or late cancellation.

Non-refundable reservations remain non-refundable and cannot be modified and/or cancelled.

If you've booked through a travel agent or third party, different cancellations policies might apply. Please contact your travel agent or third party in case you'd like to make any modifications to your existing booking. 

Do you accept group bookings?

We sure do. Any request for 9 rooms or more is considered as a group booking. Contact our team via email on to make your booking as different rates and policies would apply.

Where can I park?

The nearest parking is Royal Victoria Car Park. Costs are £20 for 24hours.

I'm going public. How do I get there?

The DLR Royal Victoria Station is the closest tube station and only a 3 minutes walk to the hotel. 

The Emirates Cable car is literally next door. You can chip in and out with your Oyster card (3.50 GBP for a single flight). Opening hours can be found here

Do you have smoking rooms?

We do not. All rooms are completely non-smoking. If you light up or vape inside the hotel we must charge a £ 200 smoking fee to your card, plus taxes, to cover for our special deep cleaning costs. 

Can you accommodate families?

We do welcome families and have extra beds/baby cots on a limited basis. If you wish to book your family room, please contact our Reservations team on

Is the hotel accessible friendly?

Facilities throughout the hotel are wheelchair accessible. If you'd like to book an accessible room, let us know as availability is limited.

Are pets allowed?

Small pets are allowed on the Roof and in the Living Room. Unfortunately, they have to go home for bedtime as pets are not allowed in our bedrooms (except for service dogs).

Can I store my bags there before I check-in or after I check-out?

Yes, we can definitely arrange that. Our welcome team would be more than happy to hold your belongings until midnight the same day of your departure at the hotel. If you need to store something overnight, please inquire with our team. 

Is there Wi-Fi?

This is like asking if we have water. Of course, and it's free of charge. Wi-Fi can be accessed anywhere in the hotel. 

What about television?

Our rooms don't have TV and that's intentional. We have a spacious and well-designed living room where you can hang out, read, work, get together with family and friends, name it, it's OK. Put your feet up & feel at home. 

In need of some netflixing? We've got iPads you can borrow free of charge. (We do hold a £ 100 security deposit on your CC, but that is released the moment you give us the iPad back.)

Our kitchen team is there for you every day of the week, and you're able to get drinks and food around the clock. But let us break it down for you:

24/7 open and stocked with freshly cut fruits, sandwiches, salads, cakes and other goodness.

The Roof

Open daily 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Spring and Summer only, weather permitting)*

*Seasonal closure during Autumn and Winter months.

Do you offer room service?

We do not. However, we have our Living Room that serves drinks and bites throughout the day. Find yourself a spot depending on what you're in the mood for. We have plenty of open space and quiet corners. Hang out & connect.

Do you have a gym/spa?

No we don't. BUT, we regularly have health and fitness classes on offer at the hotel.
