Good Hotel London is a floating platform introducing the profit for non-profit business model into the London hotel scene. Located in the Royal Victoria Docks, offering good views over the city of London and river Thames.

Good Hotel London stands for premium hospitality with a cause.

The property is floating Good Hotel, located in the Royal Victoria Dock in London. The floating hotel was the first Good Hotel to launch worldwide and stayed in its hometown Amsterdam for a year. In November 2016, the 8 million kilos concrete structure was shipped to London and is staying there for a period of 5 years. It was transported by a submersible barge across the North Sea Canal, via the river Thames and through the King George V lock.

The purpose is to extensively train (long-term) unemployed locals in various jobs in the hospitality industry. After concluding the Good Training, participants will be offered a three-month contract at Good Hotel, followed by professional mediation in the city's hotel business. The entire process gives participants a real chance to get of welfare, (re-)integrate into the economy and build a new future. 

The location is unique. On the water in the Royal Victoria Docks and offering great views over the river Thames, city of London and Canary Wharf. Located in a vibrant area with direct travel links to Central London and cable-car access to Greenwich and the O2 Arena. London City Airport, the Excel London Exhibition Centre and The Crystal business hub are around the corner.

The design can be described as a pure industrial style – combining Dutch Design classics by Lensvelt and Moooi with cherry-picked items of Hema and custom made pieces by our designers. 

The rooms range from a cosy 13 sqm to a spacious 30 sqm, and they're 148 of them in total. Standard rooms come with Twin or Double beds, Deluxe and Corner rooms with a luxurious King size. Amenities include an en-suite bathroom, in-room safe, coffee/tea facilities, small writing desk and free WiFi. Water views are optional in the Standard and come per default in the Deluxe and Corner rooms.

The concept has been awarded with a REBEL business award for greatest innovation/disruption (see press release here below) and introduces a new business-model into the hospitality industry. Re-investing all its profits in business, into education and stimulation of entrepreneurship. Yes, all of it. 

The Living Room is where good food and drinks are served. Open all day, every day. It's a place where you can kick off your shoes, put your feet up, enjoy an espresso, meet with friends, or get some work done at one of our communal tables. 

The rooftop is an oasis of green and open space, boasting a terrace and bar overlooking London, Canary Wharf and the river Thames. The menu serves drinks and café classics. 

The meeting rooms range from S to XL. All offer views over the river, natural daylight and good daily delegate packages. They're four of them and the XL one boasts an in-room pantry and holds up to 50 persons in classroom style. The Living Room hosts up to 120 in cocktail.

The amenities are free WiFi (yes, everywhere), 24-hour front desk & concierge services, bike rental and free iPads for guests' use.
